Pier Sixty Six Resort is a luxury waterfront resort located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Luxury Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Luxury Restaurant Manager will be responsible for leading the restaurant operation with passion and creativity, ensuring exceptional five-star service. This individual will take the lead in project managing the opening, including recruiting, menu creation, service standards, and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to meet brand service standards and initiatives.
  • Ensure the food and beverage operation meets the brand's target customer needs, employee satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for a fine-dining Italian restaurant that delivers products and services to exceed customer expectations.
  • Select and manage a high-performing restaurant team.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team to design menus and wine lists.
  • Control costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory control, and cost control measures.
  • Provide exceptional service and attention to guests, ensuring a distinctive experience.
  • Lead by example, promoting good public relations, and taking care of special requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in luxury restaurant management, preferably with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar position.
  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in the luxury restaurant management.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 4 years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area.
  • Valid Food Handlers card.
  • Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Some travel required for training, conferences, and special events.
  • Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.
