Overview:

Pier Sixty Six Resort, a luxury waterfront destination in Fort Lauderdale, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our fine dining restaurant. As a key member of our opening team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of departmental strategies, ensuring exceptional service, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for a fine-dining Italian restaurant that delivers exceptional products and services to exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Lead a team of professionals, selecting and managing talent, and providing training and development opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team to design menus and wine lists.
  • Control costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory control, and cost control measures.
  • Provide exceptional service, ensuring a distinctive experience for guests, and maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure alignment with brand initiatives and service standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in fine dining, luxury, or Michelin Star management.
  • Valid Food Handlers card.
  • Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Some travel required for training, conferences, and special events.
  • Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.
