About the Role

PDS Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Modeling Company Culture: Demonstrate a warm and approachable demeanor to each patient, consistently providing a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and creating Patients for Life (PFL).
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments that result in each healthcare provider having a smooth, productive day.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time, answer telephones in a timely manner, and handle all calls with efficiency and thoroughness.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure that all tasks on the front office checklist are completed daily, post payments to patient accounts in accordance with Company policies, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be proficient in practice management systems, patient registration, e-check in, and account information management.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other meetings as required, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics.
  • Professional Development: Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies, and ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, insurance, or business.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances, as well as results-oriented, patient advocate, process-focused operator, financial acumen, and influencer skills.
