Clinical Nurse Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to procedural patients, including those undergoing CT guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 in a 5-bed unit, ensuring high-quality care and attention.
- Participate in weekend coverage as needed, which may vary based on staffing requirements.
- Float to similar units as necessary, adapting to the needs of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS are mandatory.
Unit Information:
- The unit averages a daily census of 15-20 patients, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration.
- Charting is conducted through EPIC, and familiarity with this system is advantageous.
