Responsibilities

Are you seeking a role that enables you to provide timely and automated solutions for identifying strategic activities, generating pertinent insights, and enhancing Global Situational Awareness for national security? Join our Integrated Intelligence team within the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) as a SETA contractor on the Geralt program.

As an Acquisition Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Formulating acquisition strategies and drafting acquisition documentation in collaboration with Government technical and contracts personnel to facilitate program development and execution.
  2. Overseeing the planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and execution of new prototype acquisitions, including Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Task Orders (TOs) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), along with exploring alternative contracting methods such as Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) and Commercial Solutions Openings (CSOs).
  3. Creating essential acquisition documents such as Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), In Scope Determinations, and criteria for proposal evaluations.
  4. Assisting the Government client in monitoring and managing the financial execution and planning of programs.
  5. Collaborating with other Program Offices to transition prototype software into baseline programs for long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) support.
  6. Providing acquisition advisory services during the technical and cost evaluations of proposals.
  7. Documenting technical and programmatic requirements in coordination with technical teams.
  8. Tracking technical progress, identifying obstacles, and assessing technical solutions alongside Government development teams.
  9. Integrating SAFe Agile program development processes and activities.
Qualifications

Required:

  1. Technical degree: 12-15 years of experience with a BS/BA or 10-13 years with an MS/MA.
  2. Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  3. Experience within the Intelligence Community.
  4. A minimum of five years supporting Department of Defense/Intelligence Community programs.
  5. Proven ability to work as an individual contributor across integrated customer and contractor project teams to deliver capabilities.

Desired:

  1. Preference for Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Program Management.
  2. Preference for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
