About the Role

Sciolex Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Acquisition System Engineer to provide Acquisition and Program Management Support to multiple rapid research and development efforts aimed at designing and delivering critical cutting-edge components of the future architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Acquisition Strategies: Work with government technical and contracts staff to develop acquisition strategies and acquisition documentation enabling program development and implementation.
  • Support Prototype Acquisition Planning: Support new prototype acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and execution for Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Task Orders (TOs) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), as well as potential alternate contracting approaches such as Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) and Commercial Solutions Opening (CSOs).
  • Draft Acquisition Artifacts: Draft common acquisition artifacts such as statements of work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), In Scope Determinations, and proposal evaluation criteria.
  • Monitor Program Financial Execution: Assist Government customer in monitoring and managing program financial execution and planning.
  • Coordinate Program Transition: Help coordinate with other Program Offices for the transition of prototype software to baseline programs for long term operations & maintenance (O&M) support.
  • Provide Acquisition Advisory Services: Provide acquisition advisory services during technical and cost evaluations of proposals.
  • Document Technical Requirements: Work with technical staff documenting technical and programmatic requirements.
  • Track Technical Progress: Effectively work with development teams to track technical progress, identify blockers to progress, and assess technical solutions.
  • Support Agile Program Development: Support SAFe Agile program development processes and activities.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Government Contracting Experience: 5+ years of government program management / contracting / acquisition experience.
  • Non-Traditional Acquisition Experience: Experience with non-traditional/non-FAR acquisition vehicles a plus (IDIQ, BAA, OT, CSO, etc.).
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and environment.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team.
  • Communication Skills: Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and communications skills.
