Position Overview

QinetiQ US is in search of a Senior Acquisition Analyst to provide support for technical initiatives within a government context. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities and offer guidance through their expertise and experience, effectively managing and overseeing both current and emerging projects. This role involves identifying critical needs of the warfighter, initiating new initiatives, and delivering management and technical proficiency in project execution to ensure timely and impactful capabilities for the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Service or Defense Agency Program Offices to utilize existing capabilities in innovative manners and provide expertise in relevant technical areas.
  • Guide and support the acquisition management of ongoing and future projects, ensuring alignment with overall cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes with relevant contracting and financial analysts.
  • Provide essential support within a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency integrated product team of acquisition professionals across various locations.
  • Lead the development of acquisition-related documents and materials to support transition processes and Milestone Decision Authority gates.
  • Oversee collaborative creation of requirements and programmatic documentation with stakeholders from various Services.
  • Engage in special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI-Eligible - Must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance or have held an SCI clearance and been debriefed within the last 24 months.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in program management, operational roles, and analytical functions.
  • Proficient in program management, systems engineering, and possess in-depth knowledge in areas such as long-range fires, data science, AI, autonomous systems, long-range weapon systems, and cyber operations.
  • Skilled in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and other equivalent program management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to various locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in acquisition or government program management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
