Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Resource Team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the intensive care unit, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating the latest research and best practices.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Current Washington RN licensure required by date of hire.
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required by date of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year or more of continuous recent (within the last 3 years) medical or surgical intensive care experience.
- Trauma Core Curriculum (TNCC) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 12 months of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Competitive hourly compensation, with starting wage of $74.61 an hour (more depending on RN experience).
- Night differential of $7/hour.
