**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care in the Critical Care Unit
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop plans of care
* Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
* Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
**Requirements:**
* Current Washington RN licensure
* American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
* Minimum of 1 year or more of continuous recent medical or surgical intensive care experience
* Trauma Core Curriculum (TNCC) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 12 months of hire
* National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 6 months of hire

**Physical/Cognitive Requirements:**
