Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at our New Kensington facility. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the efficient assembly and installation of various components and sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and install components and sub-assemblies according to written and electronic drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Maintain inventory of components, hardware, and other necessary department items.
- Organize the assembly area and maintain assembly equipment and tooling.
- Contribute ideas and subject matter expertise to the continuous improvement of both the process and documentation.
- Communicate with management, team leads, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
- Complete legible reports and other associated paperwork.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions.
- Demonstrated in-process inspection competence.
- Demonstrated basic mathematical skills.
- Has both mechanical and technical capacity.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Honest and timely communication.
- Self-motivation and positive attitude.
- Integrity and safety.
