Composite Manufacturing Specialist

Role

As a Composite Manufacturing and Assembly Specialist at Path Engineering, you will be responsible for the production and assembly of thermoset composites, including prepreg and wet lamination, vacuum bagging, and autoclave processing. You will also have the opportunity to guide and support technicians, coordinate with supervisors and management, and act as a subject matter expert for lean and continuous improvement events.

Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and assemble thermoset composites using various processes, including prepreg and wet lamination, vacuum bagging, and autoclave processing.
  • Guide and support technicians within the department to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and management to ensure smooth operations and achieve production goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for lean and continuous improvement events to drive process improvements and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in composite manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication.
  • Apprenticeship, Associates degree, or combination of training and hands-on experience required.
  • Expert understanding of manufacturing and/or assembly of thermoset composites.
