We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Credit Analyst to join our team at Meeder Asset Management Inc. As a key member of our Public Funds Credit team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of fixed-income issuers.
Key Responsibilities- Fundamental Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on approved and proposed corporate issuers, including sector and issuer research, proprietary analysis, and written recommendations.
- Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio managers and credit team members to determine appropriate investment counterparties, concentration limits, and evaluate internal risk policies.
- Credit Exposure Reporting: Manage the credit exposure reporting process across corporate issuers and trading counterparts.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in various ad hoc projects as required.
- Fiduciary Mindset: Demonstrate a strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and a client-oriented approach.
- Analytical Skills: Possess the ability to analyze large amounts of data and distill findings.
- Intellectual Curiosity: Exhibit strong intellectual curiosity, initiative, and time management skills.
- Integrity and Ethics: Uphold high levels of integrity and strong ethical standards.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in investment analysis or completion of CFA level 1.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Bloomberg, Morning Star, and other research/data compilation tools.
- Software Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
