Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist III - Precision Manufacturing to join our team at Tecomet, Inc.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision parts, ensuring accuracy and quality within specified tolerances.
  • Set up, adjust offsets, and operate multiple CNC machines to meet production demands.
  • Program CNC machines with some level of supervision, using technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering to redesign fixtures, improve quality standards, and increase productivity.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, preferably with an associate degree or certification in Tooling & Machining.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and activities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train new or lower-level machinists.
  • Proven record of quality, on-time production runs, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
