Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in setting up and operating complex machining systems, reviewing programs, and making necessary edits for precision machining.

This is a highly skilled position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC or manual machines, both horizontal and vertical.
  • Use precision instruments such as height gages, calipers, micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, and optical comparators.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose cutting efficiency or malfunctions.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of tapping, threading, and thread forms.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of materials science and be able to apply this knowledge to optimize cutting speed and feeds.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC lathe machining.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We offer a competitive salary range of $28.00 to $33.00 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan.
