Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at ECHN. As a Clinician III, you will play a vital role in providing essential mental health services to children and adolescents.
Job SummaryThis position involves delivering individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning to meet the unique needs of young patients and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with community providers, schools, and other agencies to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in clinical supervision, case conferences, and peer review to maintain high standards of practice
- Masters degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Connecticut
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children and adolescents in a behavioral health setting
