Position Overview

We are seeking a mid-level clinician with expertise in grief support services. This role involves delivering clinical assistance to grieving adults and children through various methods, including individual, couples, family, or group counseling. The clinician will ensure culturally sensitive and family-oriented care in the provision of bereavement services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the promotion of culturally responsive and family-centered care, focusing on the wellness of grieving families.
  • Identify and address psychosocial factors that may intensify the grief experience.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, patients, families, and the community, acting as a subject matter expert in bereavement.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary to support families and children during critical stages of grief.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, Divinity, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven experience in crisis intervention and assessing the psychosocial needs of those who are bereaved.
  • Experience working with children is essential.

Licensure:

  • Must hold a current license in Washington State as a Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC), Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Psychologist, or Chaplain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in multiple languages.
  • Background in mental health services.
  • Ability to manage complex cases effectively.
  • Experience in providing individual and group psychotherapy utilizing various evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, IPT).
  • Knowledge and experience in working with diverse and multicultural populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a range of $55.12 per hour, calculated based on full-time employment. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and expertise.
