We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Downtown Seattle, Washington. As a Medical Assistant - Endocrinology Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Daily Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic interactions, including examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures.
- Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, and extended care benefits.
- Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures as directed.
- Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies.
- Assist with tasks, phone calls, and messages; document all actions taken.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Active Interim or Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).
- 1+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- Immediate enrollment in Health Insurance.
