Position Overview
Lexima is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent who will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests before their arrival and throughout their stay. This position is vital in maximizing our suite revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests before and during their stay.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring follow-up for guest satisfaction.
  • Provide information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Facilitate the delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests as needed.
  • Adhere to all Lexima/Brand credit policies and be knowledgeable about rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Maintain familiarity with in-house groups and manage suite inventory.
  • Ensure accurate handling of reservations and follow established guidelines for rate quoting.
  • Utilize the front desk computer system proficiently.
  • Contribute positively to guest satisfaction surveys and maintain effective communication skills.
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to all compliance standards and regulations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel amenities and emergency procedures.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a clean and organized front office area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred.
  • Prior experience in hospitality is advantageous.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to manage complex information and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be fluent in English.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
