Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the dining room and tables to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Assist servers as needed to ensure prompt and efficient service to our guests.
  • Help bring courses from the kitchen to the tables, ensuring that our guests receive their food in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace throughout the shift, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and enthusiastic dining ambiance, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all menu items, including daily specials, to provide informed recommendations to our guests.
  • Participate actively in pre-service preparations, including lineup and side work, to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Complete all assigned side work as directed by management, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Report to scheduled shifts on time, ready to work in proper uniform, and operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
  • A passion for food, wine, and service, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A desire to provide exceptional hospitality and exceed guest expectations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Knowledge of tableside etiquette and a desire to learn and grow in the service industry.
  • Rigorous attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently, with a professional demeanor and polished appearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with the ability to stand for prolonged periods and climb stairs regularly.
  • Ability to physically maneuver through work areas, bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently.
