Job Summary

Catezza is seeking a highly motivated and organized Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the dining room and tables to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Assist servers as needed to ensure prompt and accurate service to our guests.
  • Help bring courses from the kitchen to the tables, ensuring that our guests receive their food in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace throughout the shift, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all menu items and daily specials to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Participate actively during lineup to ensure seamless service and communication with the team.
  • Complete all assigned side work as directed by management to maintain a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect the assets and image of Catezza.
  • Report to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work in proper uniform, demonstrating a professional demeanor and polished appearance.
Requirements
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus, but not required.
  • A passion for food, wine, and service is essential for success in this role.
  • A strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask are necessary to meet the demands of this position.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • A desire to provide unsurpassed hospitality and exceed guest expectations is crucial for success in this role.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of tableside etiquette are necessary to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • A desire for growth and long-term goals in the service industry are beneficial for career advancement.
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is required for this role.
  • The ability to stand for prolonged periods and climb steps regularly is necessary to meet the demands of this position.
Compensation

The base pay range for this position is competitive and includes a minimum wage and a tip credit when applicable. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including prior employment history, job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
