Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Operations: Oversee the daily housekeeping of all areas within the facility, including resident apartments and common areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with facility management, marketing staff, and other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules, ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work performed by housekeeping staff to ensure that it meets specifications and standards, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Supply Management: Check stock levels to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts, and notify management of any supply needs or issues.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Check and maintain housekeeping equipment to ensure that it is in good working order, and notify management of any repairs needed.
  • Customer Service: Visit with residents to ensure that the delivery of housekeeping services is exceeding expectations, and provide exceptional customer service to all residents and staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure continued compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and understand facility's fire and disaster plans, and follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to lead and train a team, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and any other certifications required by the facility or state.
Work Environment

This position requires lifting, up to 50 pounds, and standing and walking continuously throughout the day. The Lead Housekeeping Supervisor must be able to work with chemicals and cleaning agents, and must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

This is an hourly position, with expected hours to include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays. Travel is not required for this position.
