Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a Senior Housekeeping Supervisor who is committed to delivering outstanding service within a healthcare setting.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
This role is crucial in maintaining a pristine and healthy environment for all residents, guests, and staff. The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the housekeeping team, ensuring compliance with the facility's standards and objectives.
- Conduct daily cleaning operations across all facility areas, including resident living spaces and communal areas.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Assist in training new housekeeping staff under the guidance of the Environmental Services Director.
- Coordinate with management to manage the cleaning of guest accommodations and turnover rooms.
- Monitor and inspect the work of housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Report any staffing issues or concerns to the Environmental Services Director.
- Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available and notify management of any shortages.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment in good working order and report any necessary repairs.
- Store and handle cleaning supplies safely and in an organized manner.
- Engage with residents to ensure satisfaction with housekeeping services.
- Participate in mandatory facility meetings.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Understand and follow emergency procedures as outlined in the facility's disaster plans.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Role:
The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor will guide the housekeeping team in the absence of the Environmental Services Director.
Work Environment:
This position involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
Work Schedule:
This is an hourly position with varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience:
A solid background in housekeeping or environmental services is essential.
Preferred Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a similar role within a healthcare or senior living environment is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
Must be proficient in English and possess the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
