Creighton University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to support the Office of Medical Education (OME). The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the Clinical Skills & Experience disciplines in the Medical Education Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff in the coordination of curricular activities and clinical experiences.
  • Logistics Management: Manage the implementation, execution, and logistics of green track activities and clinical experiences.
  • Course Management: Manage the long-term Clinical Skills & Experiences courses in BlueLine (LMS).
  • Calendar Management: Maintain an Outlook calendar for green track activities and track student/faculty attendance.
  • Room Reservations: Ensure that appropriate rooms have been reserved for sessions inside and outside of the SIM center.
  • Orientation Support: Participate in the organization, preparation, and execution of Orientation week for incoming M1 students as needed or assigned by the supervising manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Session Support: Provide support for green track learning sessions and clinical experiences.
  • Prework and Presentations: Collect and track prework and presentations from faculty for green track activities/sessions.
  • Session Logistics: Work with the staff/administration of the Clinical Education and Simulation Center to ensure that everything is in order for sessions that take place there.
  • Stakeholder Support: Work with stakeholders across various departments to ensure adequate support, tracking of student and faculty attendance, and evaluations of clinical experiences.
  • Communication: Communicate logistics and details of sessions with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Backup Support: Provides backup support to other curriculum coordinators in the event that coverage is needed, and the customary support is unavailable.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of related experience.
  • Skills: Client management experience, database experience, intermediate experience with Office 365, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Communication: Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Project Management: Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaborator with top-notch people skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with colleagues, faculty, and students.
