About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Carson Group Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's websites and digital presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our marketing and development teams to create and implement website strategies
  • Design and develop new features and functionality on our partner websites
  • Manage the technical aspects of our website CMS, including content, imagery, and plugins
  • Create responsive web pages and posts that meet our brand guidelines
  • Build new websites under our existing WordPress structure
  • Edit and update websites, communicating progress through our client request system
  • Manage the visual identity of our partner websites, including page layouts, banners, buttons, and illustrations
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding development direction and project status
  • Serve as a sign-off for sites and page builds, ensuring that all functionality, SEO, design, and content pieces are publication-ready
Requirements
  • Ability to read, understand, and implement detailed documentation around processes and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret systems documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Strong work/project organization and planning skills
  • Proficient analytical skills and the ability to use data and market knowledge to evaluate and optimize products
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Marketo
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Excellent understanding of UX/UI design and experience working within a custom WordPress theme
  • Experience using development tools like code editors, FTP, GitHub, and experience developing and testing responsive websites
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Search Console, SEM Rush, and other optimization platforms
Preferred Education and Experience
  • BS/BA degree in a related field or comparable work experience/knowledge
  • Examples of previous website development work
