Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Desk, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Front Desk Staff: Provide guidance, training, and support to Front Desk staff to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily management of the Front Desk, including scheduling, labor costs, and guest satisfaction.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in creating and managing the department budget, ensuring compliance with company initiatives and reporting budget concerns to management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests receive a positive experience and that customer service standards are met.
  • Staff Development and Training: Develop and implement staff development and training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate team members, provide constructive feedback, and make recommendations for staffing and scheduling.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft applications and hotel software.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Gaming Permit and Key License, ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
