Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Hospitality Operations will lead the largest non-clinical division within the Facilities, Services, and Planning sector. This role is pivotal in enhancing the experiences of patients, staff, and visitors through effective management of various hospitality services.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Operational Leadership**: Direct and manage the Department of Hospitality Services, focusing on strategic planning, goal setting, cost control, and enhancing service delivery.
2. **Service Excellence**: Implement continuous improvement strategies to elevate service quality and safety standards within hospitality services.
3. **Data Analytics**: Utilize integrated data sources to develop insights and analytics that inform hospitality performance and enhance patient experience.
4. **Technology Utilization**: Leverage advanced technology and staffing models to optimize daily operations and meet customer demands efficiently.
5. **Procurement Management**: Oversee negotiation and contracting processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Areas of Focus
- **Food Services**: Manage patient meal ordering, preparation, and delivery, along with staff and visitor dining options.
- **Environmental Services**: Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
- **Patient Transport**: Oversee the logistics of patient and equipment transportation, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- **Facilities Management**: Assess and maintain the condition of facilities to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality within a healthcare setting.
