Department: Developmental Brain Injuries Division (DBIS)
Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. Our DBIS staff play a crucial role in ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to lead a safe, fulfilling, and meaningful life both at home and within the community. As collaborative team members, we create environments that promote creative opportunities tailored to the evolving needs and aspirations of those we support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in various residential settings as directed.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including the use of adaptive equipment.
  • Contribute to meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping to maintain a comfortable living environment.
  • Facilitate transportation for residents to appointments and community events.
  • Document daily shift notes, track data, and maintain individual records as assigned.
  • Support the development and execution of personalized support goals.
  • Administer medications as required (MAP Certified).
  • Stay updated on agency certifications and training requirements.
  • Perform additional programmatic tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least six months.
  • Medication Administration Certification is essential.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC Restraint Certification) is necessary.
  • Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities and ensure resident safety.
  • Basic computer and office skills are required.
  • Background check (CORI) is mandatory.

Work Schedule:
  • Tuesday to Saturday, 7 AM to 3 PM
