About the Role:

Bethpage Federal Credit Union is committed to excellence and delivering exceptional member service. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and centers of influence.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by identifying potential members in need of mortgage financing and communicating our mortgage programs, processes, and guidelines to prospective clients.
  • Work with members to structure mortgage loans that meet their needs.
  • Assist in setting strategy for sales originations to increase loan production and profit.
  • Attend networking events on behalf of Bethpage Federal Credit Union to build relationships and prospecting opportunities.
  • Comply with all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), CFPB, and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of mortgage sales experience.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to attend morning, evening, and weekend events.
  • Ability to speak confidently in front of large groups and meet with high-level executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NMLS certification.
  • Service delivery, real estate lending, sales, and entrepreneurial spirit.
