Position Overview:

Compensation:
The anticipated salary for this role is $35,000 annually, supplemented by commission opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture referral relationships.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets by engaging with influential networks and identifying potential members seeking mortgage solutions.
  • Effectively communicate mortgage programs, processes, and guidelines to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with members to tailor mortgage loans that align with their specific needs.
  • Assist management in strategizing sales originations to enhance loan production and profitability.
  • Represent Bethpage FCU at networking events, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and special occasions, to foster networking and prospecting opportunities.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) guidelines relevant to this position.

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Mortgage Sales is essential.
  • Reliable transportation is required, with the flexibility to attend morning, evening, and weekend events regularly.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
  • Confidence in public speaking and the ability to engage with high-level executives in both group and one-on-one settings.

Educational Background:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

  • NMLS certification is preferred.
