About the Role:

Bethpage Federal Credit Union is committed to excellence and delivering exceptional member service. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with centers of influence and identify potential members in need of mortgage financing.
  • Communicate mortgage programs, processes, and guidelines to prospective clients, ensuring a seamless and informed experience.
  • Work closely with members to structure mortgage loans that meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set strategies for sales originations, driving loan production and profit growth.
  • Attend networking events on behalf of Bethpage Federal Credit Union, building relationships with the corporate and charitable community.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of mortgage sales experience
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to attend morning, evening, and weekend events
  • Ability to communicate confidently with large groups and high-level executives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NMLS certification
  • Service delivery, real estate lending, sales, and entrepreneurial spirit
