Position Overview
As a Lead Supply Chain Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Facilitating effective communication across operations, procurement, logistics, and distribution sectors.
- Developing cohesive processes to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborating with sales, engineering, and facilities management to align production timelines and deliverables.
- Overseeing and guiding the supply chain team, which includes recruitment, training, and mentorship.
- Setting and monitoring key performance indicators and benchmarks to inform supply chain planning and forecasting, while presenting performance outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate for the Lead Supply Chain Operations Manager role will possess extensive experience in several of the following areas:
- A degree in supply chain management, business, accounting, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Expertise in Master Scheduling.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in managing Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP), Inventory Management, and Forecasting, along with Master Scheduling functions within a manufacturing context.
- ASCM CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
