About the Role:

The CNC Fabrication Specialist will be responsible for operating a press brake to manufacture products from sheet metal or metal. This includes setting up and adjusting the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metal fabrication and be able to safely and effectively operate the press brake controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a press brake to manufacture products from sheet metal or metal
  • Set up and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedules
  • Ensure sufficient raw materials are available
  • Measure and align materials to be used
  • Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards

Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans
  • Basic computer and math skills

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred

Work Environment:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time
