The CNC Brake Press Operator will utilize a press brake to shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates. Key responsibilities include operating the press brake, preparing and setting up the machine, ensuring raw material availability, measuring and aligning materials, and inspecting products for quality standards. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess basic computer and math skills, be able to read and interpret product plans, and have the ability to safely and effectively operate the press brake. A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in metal fabrication or a related field are preferred. The work environment is moderate, with prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. The employee must be physically able to operate the press brake and lift 50 pounds at a time. Cummings Resources offers a great working environment and benefits package.
