About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Account Executive to join our expanding sales team. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality and experience in the SAAS, Taxi, Public Transportation Industries. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and managing opportunities through the sales cycle, negotiating beneficial business terms, and securing multi-year contracts to establish long-term relationships with new clients and retain existing ones.

Responsibilities
  • Meet sales quotas by consistently engaging in outbound activity, existing customer engagement, and renewals, as well as adding value to in-year revenue, new logo attainment, business development, and market expansion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of your core market, use cases, terminology, and trends impacting their business, becoming a trusted advisor to your clients.
  • Build a pipeline with new logo and territory customer lists to ensure a sufficient opportunity to close ratio.
  • Participate in key industry events to secure new prospects, engage with existing clients, and maintain DDS Wireless International's industry leader position.
  • Develop new contacts through outbound phone and email outreach, virtual meetings, and in-person conference attendance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce, providing data to refine our market focus and product roadmap.
  • Develop lasting, positive, and productive relationships with DDS clients, securing referrals and testimonials that lead to new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in pre-sales, marketing, and customer success to provide an exceptional customer-first experience.
  • Stay informed on market intelligence regarding the transportation and ride-share environment.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the sales and relationship lifecycle, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Deliver highly effective discovery sessions to understand the prospect's business needs, priorities, budget, timing, and key KPIs.
  • Manage customer account plans, sales engagement strategies, inbound, outbound activities, lead generation activities, creative, and professional customer engagement.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of quota-carrying experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions preferably in the public transportation space, trucking, bus, taxi, ride-share, or fleet management area.
  • Strong history of quota attainment for deals over $300K (proven negotiation and closing skills).
  • Sales hunter mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Energetic, engaged, personality, positive attitude, creative, and a desire to work for a rewarding and innovative company with a leading product and 35-year history operating in a start-up mentality.
  • Excel at connecting with clients through written, verbal, and electronic communication.
  • Willingness to understand and communicate the underlying technology to business prospects.
  • Strong prospecting, qualification, and negotiations skills with a business solution-centric mindset.
  • A roll-up your sleeves mentality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior success in capturing market share from competitors.
Great to Have
  • Established network of contacts in the transportation space.
  • Existing knowledge of AI in routing and scheduling dispatch systems.
  • Product awareness and insight of the competitive environment globally.
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred, not essential.
  • Proven experience managing deal sizes of $300K+.
  • Comfortable with sales cycles of between 3-9 months.
