Optical Sales Professional

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales results in our optical retail stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and providing expert advice on eyewear and optical solutions.
Main Responsibilities
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and sales techniques
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to provide the perfect vision solution
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed
• Participate in creating a positive store environment and foster strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff
• Maintain a clean and organized store appearance and display
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of retail or customer service experience
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills
• Ability to sell through effective sales skills and accountability for sales results
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment
