Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll be on the front lines of this journey, leading a team of engineers responsible for systems design and test of all Raytheon products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the development lifecycle for test, including test requirements, test system design, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations, environmental testing, and environmental characterization.
  • Collaborate with operation managers, operation PTEs, program managers, chief engineers, CPT/directorate leads, and other functional management to drive results and achieve program and business unit objectives.
  • Support Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals and lead the onboarding of new section personnel.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading efforts as a program manager, IPTL, sub-IPTL, REA, and/or project team lead.
  • Experience with financial reporting activities, including CAM.
  • S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
