About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to lead our team of system engineers in the development and execution of radar systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that each employee has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a group of multi-disciplinary system engineers, providing performance development and appraisal, salary planning, manpower planning, career coaching, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Contribute to the technical oversight of employees, monitor program execution, and provide radar system subject matter expertise in direct support of program efforts and proposal activities.
  • Empower employees, lead and motivate teams, and foster collaboration to drive business results.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in empowering employees, leading and motivating teams, and fostering collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is $118,000 USD - $246,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
