Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Part Time Member Service Representative to join our team at Fire Police City County FCU. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing transactions, and promoting our credit union products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service
    • Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a professional manner.
    • Represent the credit union in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Transaction Processing
    • Process account transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
    • Comply with Federal regulations for the processing of holds on accounts.
  • Product and Service Promotion
    • Cross-sell credit union products and services such as auto loans, credit cards, and financial literacy.
    • Input loan applications and close member loans.
  • Branch Operations
    • Maintain accurate daily records to ensure proper maintenance of documents for auditing and exam purposes.
    • Balance cash drawer daily to ensure physical cash counts match computer-generated counts.
    • Research and resolve any cash count discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience
    • Customer Service Experience Preferred

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers/scanners, filling cabinets, 10-key calculator, and fax machines. The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.

The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
