Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Fire Police City County FCU. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, handling a wide range of financial transactions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service
    • Provide personalized service to members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Greet and welcome members to the credit union, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
  • Transaction Processing
    • Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
    • Verify member identities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Product Promotion
    • Offer and promote our credit union's products and services, such as auto loans, credit cards, and financial literacy programs.
    • Input loan applications and close member loans in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Branch Operations
    • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and balance cash daily to ensure accuracy.
    • Count, verify, and package coins and currency for sale or purchase from the vault.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

This role operates in a clerical office setting, requiring manual dexterity, the ability to lift files, and open filing cabinets. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
