Job Title: Account Executive Multi-media Sales

Salem Media Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing on-air and digital sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling and managing our multi-media marketing solutions to local small and medium-sized businesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for local and regional businesses, identifying decision-makers and creating compelling advertising presentations that address client objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on local digital marketing trends and opportunities, utilizing this knowledge to develop strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision-makers.
  • Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and exceed annual budgets.
Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
  • Able to understand categories of businesses to prospect for new clients and develop in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse group of clients and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft business software and ability to quickly learn new software applications for prospecting and market insights.
