We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Lead Water Resources Engineer to become a vital part of our Water Resources Practice. This diverse team engages in a wide array of municipal and site projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Your Role: As a key member of our team, you will take on significant responsibilities that include:

  • Providing senior-level design expertise and leadership for various projects.
  • Coordinating and developing project deliverables such as technical memoranda, reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and estimates, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of team members' work to guarantee accuracy and adherence to applicable codes and standards.
  • Supporting project proposals and initiatives while mentoring junior staff to foster their professional growth.

About You: Our ideal candidate is a natural leader with a strong passion for water resources. You should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning, design, and construction support for civil/site design or water resource projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Washington State and local regulations regarding stormwater, wastewater, and surface water.
  • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, SWMM, MGSFlood, and WWHM.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or a related field, along with a Washington State Professional Engineer license.

Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

  • Experience collaborating with architects and other design professionals.
  • Background in designing aviation or maritime projects.
  • Experience in water or sanitary sewer project design.
  • Active involvement in industry organizations such as APWA, WTS, SWE, NSBE, ACEC, ASCE, etc.
