Customer Experience Representative

At Joseph T Ryerson & Son Inc, we are seeking a skilled Customer Experience Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, responding to their needs and concerns, and ensuring timely and efficient order processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Share customer interactions and feedback with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive business results
  • Manage customized solutions for key customers to drive loyalty and retention
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, inventory, and operations, to ensure seamless customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales and service team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
  • Carbon flat-rolled steel experience highly desired
  • Preferred SAP or AS400 experience
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
