Position Overview:
Valtir LLC is seeking a dedicated and driven Territory Sales Executive to oversee and cultivate key accounts within the Southeastern United States. With over 50 years of experience as a leading provider of highway safety solutions, Valtir is committed to innovation and excellence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through both sales and rental channels. This includes:

  • Reporting directly to the Regional Manager to support business objectives through effective revenue generation.
  • Managing customer relationships by providing timely service and coordinating sales efforts across the Southeastern US, particularly in the Carolinas.
  • Engaging with prospective clients via telephone and in-person visits to drive business growth.
  • Participating in regional conferences and seminars to enhance professional knowledge and network.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with existing customers and distributors to foster strong partnerships.
  • Collaborating closely with Inside Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitoring rental and sales inventory while tracking project trends and product cycles.
  • Providing customers with insights on supply and pricing trends, and preparing accurate quotations.
  • Negotiating pricing within established guidelines to secure favorable agreements.
  • Managing order processing and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records in the CRM system and preparing monthly reports.
  • Identifying opportunities for new products or services and communicating market trends to management.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the construction industry or a background in sales and customer service related to highway/traffic safety.
  • Familiarity with equipment rental, particularly safety-related products.
  • The ability to interpret civil, site, and maintenance plans, along with knowledge of construction schedules.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

Skills Required:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Traffic Safety and understanding of MUTCD standards is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
