Job Description

As a Palo Alto Networks Public Sector Channel Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy with our most strategic and impactful Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners in the public sector. Your expertise in network infrastructure security and cloud-based platforms will be instrumental in building and maintaining strategic technical relationships with our GSI partners, driving incremental revenue growth, and delivering high-value solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy to establish, strengthen, and maintain strategic partnerships with GSI partners in the public sector.
  • Collaborate with our Alliance Business Managers, Systems Engineers, and Account Sales teams to drive partner awareness and enablement around joint solution offerings, sales plays, and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Provide technical support and access to deep training and enablement programs to our GSI partners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-value solutions to our customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our GSI partners, understanding their business needs and developing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Work closely with our Partner Program and Enablement Teams to resource specific regional partner meetings or activities, where local resources are required.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Channel Systems Engineer, or Solutions Architect in the security domain, with a focus on network infrastructure and cloud-based platforms.
  • Proven experience working with Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners in the public sector, with a strong understanding of their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
