Role Overview

As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in transforming traditional underwriting practices. By utilizing advanced data analytics and AI, you will enhance risk assessment methodologies, moving beyond conventional binary approaches. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and approve new and renewal business that meets specific criteria.
  • Assess and authorize requested policy modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and ISO standards.
  • Foster open communication with team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance through various reports and audits.
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in underwriting or insurance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with retail agency relationships is a plus.
