Job Title: Senior Analyst/Consultant Third Party Risk Management

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst/Consultant to join our Third Party Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of third-party risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and enhancement of CIBC's US TPRM practice and program across all aspects of the third-party life cycle.
  • Assist with the oversight and effective challenge of third-party risk and control activities.
  • Help maintain and update the US TPRM Policy Supplement and program framework standards.
  • Assist with performing second-line-of-defense objective assessments.
  • Monitor closure of issues, risks identified, risk decisions, and mitigation plans per issues management process.
  • Assist with the review and challenge of activities associated with the Affiliate Relationship Management program (Risk and Performance Assessments, Service Schedules, etc.).
  • Produce regular TPRM program reports to senior management, governance committees, and the Risk Committees of the Boards on third-party risk status, trends, issues, and mitigation strategies/plans.
  • Monitor changes in third-party regulatory requirements and coordinate with the TPRM team on impact analysis and communication plans to impacted stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management or a similar operational risk area.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically think and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
