Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage or assist a Principal or Senior Project Manager in overseeing various projects related to transmission, substations, distribution, gas, and information technology. This includes leading cross-functional teams that may involve multiple disciplines and operational areas, including contract resources.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Project Management**: Oversee or support the management of project scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance across multiple projects and programs.
2. **Team Leadership**: Lead or assist project teams through the business case and capital approval processes, as well as the development and execution of project plans and closeout procedures.
3. **Performance Accountability**: Ensure overall project and program performance, managing costs, schedules, scope, and risks, while developing recovery plans as necessary.
4. **Stakeholder Engagement**: Interface with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and foster strong working relationships.
5. **Communication**: Act as the primary communicator with sponsors and key stakeholders regarding project issues, including presentations at executive and interdepartmental levels.
6. **Resource Management**: Identify and secure project team resources, ensuring all necessary personnel are in place for project success.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, or a High School Diploma with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to implement process enhancements and efficiencies, including technology and performance improvements.
- Strong judgment, time management, and project management skills, with proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Passport.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is preferred.
