Metal Fabrication Specialist
Position Overview

We are in search of experienced Metal Fabrication Specialists to become part of our dedicated team. The core duties involve interpreting work orders and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to collect essential components and materials, examining technical drawings and schematics to formulate cut lists, and preparing material layouts for punching or drilling operations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing components for assembly and performing tack welds. Although this position does not require full welding capabilities, possessing a broad skill set in welding and shearing techniques will be beneficial.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in Fabrication and Fitting
  • Proficiency in Reading Layouts and Blueprints
  • Welding Setup Knowledge
  • Familiarity with Stairs and Stringers
Employment Type

This role is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a projected duration of 6 months.
Work Environment

This position is fully on-site. The work setting is a manufacturing job shop environment with approximately 15 employees during the first shift. The facility may experience temperature variations, becoming warm in the summer and cool in the winter. Required safety equipment includes safety glasses, hard hats, and steel-toe footwear; casual attire such as jeans and appropriate T-shirts is permitted. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts based on production needs.
