Job Overview:
The individual in this role is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive grant management process and providing essential administrative, financial, and technical support to various departments within the Board of Commissioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor grant programs, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with departments and other County offices to identify and develop grant opportunities.
- Conduct research to discover new funding sources from both government and private sectors.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, adhering to specific guidelines and requirements.
- Analyze project budgets and provide recommendations to enhance funding prospects.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of County projects and programs to effectively seek grant funding.
- Coordinate fundraising activities and monitor grant-related tasks of recipients and contractors.
- Serve as the prevailing wage coordinator for relevant contracts and projects.
- Administer fair housing programs on behalf of the County.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in public administration, business management, non-profit management, finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate progressive knowledge and skills in grant administration. Additionally, maintaining qualifications for driving on County business is essential.
