Job Overview

Associated Spring US, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in Safety and Environmental (EHS) compliance to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and leading a team of maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient operation of our facility.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and minimize disruptions to our operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed and minimizing waste.
  • Initiate replenishment of safety, MRO, and shop supplies via electronic means to ensure timely restocking.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the EHS department to conduct safety training for maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying opportunities for development and growth.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the team by encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices, ensuring we remain competitive and efficient in our operations.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between maintenance and other departments to support overall facility operations and ensure a seamless workflow.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, with a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance.
  • Certification in safety or environmental management (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector is preferred.
